Mindfulness really is in the interests of becoming the person we are meant to be. We can get lost on the treadmill of life, constantly striving for something or trapped by our patterns of behaviour, our fears, hurts and prejudices, apparently free, but driven and controlled. Engaging in mindfulness practice is simply being present to the mirror of your life, it is the way of presence and the way of patience. We learn to become present to ourselves and befriend ourselves with tenderness.
Happiness is not found through changing our external world, but through changing our internal landscape
