Mindfulness In Schools Programme

Helping children to concentrate, cope and find calm

.b, pronounced [dot-be], is a leading mindfulness curriculum for 11-18 year olds in schools, developed by the Mindfulness in Schools Project.

I am fully trained in the .b programme and teach it in Irish schools. .b stands for “stop, breathe and be” – this practice is central to this 10 week mindfulness in schools programme.

WHO IS IT FOR?

This mindfulness curriculum for 11- 18 year old’s in schools and is aimed to provide mindfulness as a life skill to these young students. Its aim is to help the students to bring a calmness into their lives. Its enables them to fulfil their potential, improve their concentration and cope with the everyday stresses of exams, relationship issues and the challenges of adolescent life.

Each lesson is tailored to take place in the classroom, is 40 minutes long and teaches the students a distinct mindfulness skill. Each lesson has been created to be as relevant as possible to the lives of the students. The classes are presented with the assistance of animated images, lively, light hearted film and sound images. Each student is invited to undertake ‘home practice’ with the help of a .b video.

Please get in touch to find out more or if you wish this programme to be delivered in your school.
